Bulk Check-In

The Bulk Check-In page is the fastest way to check a whole class in at once — pick the class, date, and time, then just type names. It's ideal for taking attendance after a class ends, catching up on a missed day, or working the front desk during a rush.

Find it under Reports → Bookings → Bulk Check-In.

How It Works

  1. Select a Class

    • Choose the class from the dropdown. Only active classes are listed, and each one shows its schedule — e.g. "All Levels Jiu-Jitsu — Mon/Wed 6:00 PM" — so classes with the same name are easy to tell apart.
  2. Pick the Date

    • Defaults to today. You can pick a past date to record attendance retroactively — those check-ins are stamped at the class time, so they show up on the correct day in the Check-In Report and Daily Roster.
  3. Pick the Time Slot

    • If the class runs more than once that day, choose the slot. When there's only one, it's selected automatically.
  4. Type Names

    • Start typing a member's name (or email) in the search box. Press Enter to check in the top match, or click any match in the list.
    • Bundle members are listed individually under their account holder, so you can check in exactly the person who's on the mat — searching a bundle member's name (e.g. a kid on a family plan) finds them too, and Enter checks them in, not the parent.

Booked vs. Walk-Ins

Once a class and date are selected, the page shows two lists:

ListWho's in it
BookedEveryone who signed up in advance — the header shows how many have arrived (e.g. "3/8 checked in"). Each row has a one-click Check In button; checked-in members get a green check. If a booking was made for a specific attendee (like a child on a parent's account), the attendee's name is shown and the check-in is recorded under that name.
Walk-InsMembers you checked in who had no signup for this class, marked with an amber "Walk-in" badge and their check-in time.

Checking in a booked member links the check-in to their booking and marks them Attended — the same as marking attendance in Class Registrations. Checking in anyone else records a walk-in check-in for the class, just like the kiosk does.

Citizenship and Safety Briefing Labels

If your gym has turned on Require Citizenship Verification or Require Safety Briefing (in Settings → Portal Settings → Privacy & Access), small labels show next to names:

  • Citizenship: Verified (green) or Citizenship: Not Verified (red)
  • Briefing Needed (red) or Briefed (green). Nothing shows for a member who was never flagged and never briefed.

They appear in the search results and in the Booked and Walk-Ins lists.

The labels are information only. They do not stop a check-in. To change one, open the member's profile. See Citizenship Verification and Safety Briefing.

Undo

Every check-in made from this page has an Undo link. Undoing removes the check-in, restores any check-in quota it consumed, and clears the booking's attended status if it was set.

Tips

  • Check-in quotas are enforced: if a member is out of check-ins, you'll see an error instead of a silent overage.
  • A member can only be checked in once per class per day from this page — a second attempt shows "already checked in."
  • Walk-ins recorded here appear on the Daily Roster, the Class Calendar, and the Check-in Report automatically.
